Payment Method

When you get our confirmation email you will have 7 days to make the payment, and only after we receive it we will send you a “YOU ARE IN” email.

If you do not pay in due time your registration will be cancelled.

The registration is strictly personal and it cannot be transferred to another person without our authorization.

Refund Policy

​

If you cancel your registration by November 15, 2022, we will refund your full marathon payment. If you cancel your registration by 1 December 2022, we will refund 50% of your payment. Your payment for marathon registration after 31 December 2022 is non-refundable for any reason, but you have the opportunity to contact us (mesopotamiatangomarathon@gmail.com) to offer a replacement or ask us to find one for you.

In case of event cancellation, you’ll be fully refunded. We hope there will be no complications with restrictions by the date of the marathon, but we’ll be monitoring the situation and inform you immediately in case of any news.

Terms & Conditions

- To keep the Milongas Balanced, Couple Registration has priority. You are welcome to register as a single, and you will be on a waiting list until another complementary dancer registers.

- For reasons of force majeure if such failure is as a result of Acts of God (including fire, flood, earthquake, storm, hurricane, or other natural disasters), pandemic diseases, Covid -19, war, invasion, an act of foreign enemies, hostilities (regardless of whether war is declared), civil war, rebellion, revolution, insurrection, military or usurped power or confiscation, terrorist activities, nationalization, government sanction, blockage, embargo, labor dispute, strike, lockout or interruption or failure of electricity or telephone service. The organizers can decide to cancel the Event at short notice. If the Event is canceled because of force majeure, no new date will be set; the next Event will take place a year later. In this case, no entry fees and additional orders will be refunded to the Participant.

- The price includes the marathon, accommodation, breakfast, dinner, and historical region tours to Şanlıurfa, Diyarbakır, and Mardin by bus. 

- Unfortunately, we are unable to accept reservations for one night. The minimum stay is for 2 nights.

- The Participant grants to the organizers the right to publish pictures, sounds and visual materials, etc., recorded during or around the time of the Event, in which the Participant is visible.

- Daily participation in milongas from outside is unfortunately not possible due to the hotel regulations.

- The organizers will save personal data provided by the Participant in a database. By participating in an Event a Participant grants the organizer permission to use the personal data to send information to the Participant and (provided the Participant has given permission for this on the registration form) to provide personal data to third parties for the purpose of sending information to the Participant. By entering into the Agreement the Participant grants the organizers permission to publish his/her name, for instance by means of publication in newspapers and via the Internet.

- 1st child under 12 is free of charge. 2nd child under 12 years old is 50% off.

-We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions at any time, and you agree to abide by the most recent version of this Terms of Use Agreement each time you view and use the Website. You are accordingly advised to consult the Terms of Use Agreement each time you view and use the Website. Do not use the Website if you do not agree to all of the following terms and conditions.

- You will be informed about payment methods in your registration confirmation e-mail.

-If you want to extend your stay, you can check in earlier and/or check out later. Please convey this to us, especially in the notes section of the registration form. 

- A participant must have the minimum age specified by the organizers for a specific Event on the day of the Event in question (for the event this is 18).

- If you feel that you haven’t received your confirmation letter after the posts of all confirmation letters being sent have been posted, contact us after making sure that you have checked your spam folder.
