With a refined understanding of tanda structure and musical flow, I skilfully manage the energy on the dance floor, offering carefully curated selections that honour the cultural roots of tango.
I’ve had the privilege of performing in numerous countries including Colombia, Brazil, Germany, the United Kingdom, Italy, Cyprus, Lithuania, Switzerland, Austria, Moldova, and Finland. In each of these diverse settings, I’ve adapted to local audiences while expressing a universal tango language through music.

Juan Stefanides
When Juan first stepped into the DJ booth at the age of 17, tango wasn’t just played in his home—it was watched, lived, and even breathed. Over the years, Juan has become much more than a DJ; he is an artist devoted to the living soul of tango. As he describes it himself, his relationship with music turned into an “archaeological discovery.” His journey from 33 RPM records to CDs and MP3s eventually led him to the nearly forgotten world of 78 RPM records—giving birth to his unique project, “78RPM con pasta de tango.”
Today, Juan offers two distinct formats of DJing:
• Musicalización 78RPM (Analog): Live sets using original 78 RPM pasta/acetate records
• Musicalización Digital: High-quality FLAC/IAF digital files from his own carefully curated archive
He also shares his expertise through Musicalization Seminars, where he explores the structure of traditional tango DJing and teaches how to create a musical flow that remains true to its roots. For Juan, DJing is not just about playing music—it’s about building the soul of the night.
Juan has done far more than just spin records; he has poured his heart into every corner of the milonga. From Salon Canning and Villa Malcolm to Club Arquitectura and Club Independencia, he has organized events, danced, photographed, made coffee, worked at the door and even behind the bar—he brought the milonga to life.
Some of the Key Venues and Events He Has Participated In:
Milonga Parakultural, Cachirulo, Viva la Pepa, El Motivo, La Tierrita, Mítico Atlanta, Tango Greece Festival, Milonga Negracha (London), Milonga La Luna & El Abrazo (Athens), Milonga Caminito and Bosco (Izmir, Ankara), Izmir Dance Studio, and many more…
At the Mesopotamia Tango Festival, Juan will take us on a nostalgic and unforgettable musical journey through time. Get ready—when the records spin, time stands still!

Winston Veerender - England
Winston Veerender is an energetic DJ focused on the dance floor. He carefully selects energetic and passionate tandas to create the right flow of energy in the room.
Winston’s teaching style incorporates a fun approach to Tango based on mindfulness, body awareness, grounding, proper alignment, and musicality. He has trained with some of the legends of Tango and has thousands of hours of dance experience at milongas worldwide, including Buenos Aires. Since 2014, he has been teaching Tango in London, where he founded Tango Amistoso and is a well-known figure in the London Tango scene.

She is the legendary DJ of Diyarbakir MED Milonga, a milonga classic of Turkey, for 16 years. Sevgi, who likes to constantly change the atmosphere of the milonga, like the periods of the tango, can play Pugliese anger to the dancers in one milonga, and cheerful milongas dedicated to Puglise communism in another milonga. In every milonga, She does not neglect to greet her feminist comrades with a tanda whose vocals or instruments are either female, the "loners" with Hugo Diaz, and the romantics with Canaro. In her milongas, Cortinas are the messenger of the order of the day, the atmosphere of the milonga. And the finale is with the song "Bye-bye happiness, Hello loneliness"... after La Cumparsita, which has remained unchanged for 16 years :)
